As the Arch Demon Dragon hunts down the Inquisition Team, they chase Clarel through the fortress until they come to find her trapped between the dragon and Magister Erimond.

In the fight, she makes her last stand, taking the dragon and Erimond down with her as the battlements collapses. Unable to outrun the collapse, the Inquisition Team fall into the chasm, and to save their lives, Trevelyan opens a Rift into the Fade....

Dragon Age Inquisition_Lysi'iaa-Adamant_Facing_Grey_Wardens-Clarel

Dragon Age: Inquisition

The Inquisition Team, Hawke and Warden Stroud find the Grey Wardens, Warden-Commander Clarel and the crazy Magister Erimond in the courtyard of Adamant.

They're in the middle of the blood magic ritual, and the team is not in time to save the lift of what would hopefully now be the final Grey Warden sacrifice. Erimond has Clarel's ear, has her convinced she is doing the right thing... but there is still a chance they may still stop this.

After appealing to them herself, Trevelyan beseeches Blackwall to speak directly to them in a hope to inspire them, Warden-to-Warden... A dent is made but not enough. Then Warden Stroud hands them the bombshell they didn't seem to be aware of - that Corypheus was behind it.

Shaken, Clarel wavers, which is enough for Erimond to send for his backup plan... one big-ass dragon to fight the Inquisition Team instead.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

The Inquisition's forces are now strong enough to lay siege to the Grey Warden fortress of Adamant.

The attack is imperative - success is the only option. Whatever Corypheus has in mind, destroying the Grey Wardens would ensure the Blight will never be challenged or defeated, instead turning them into demons to destroy all of Thedas.

They know what is at stake, and what sacrifices must be given for the greater good of successfully defeating whatever terrible fate Erimond and Corypheus has for them. There will be too many deaths on either side... but Leliana is eager to make it clear that she knows their soldiers are willing to give their lives to stop what Corypheus has planned.

The assault on Adamant goes well and the Inquisition's forces breach the fortress for the Inquisitor and her team of Iron Bull, Blackwall, and Solas to enter. Cullen sends her up to the battlements to help the forces gain good ground.

Now the real work begins.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

The Inquisitor takes her team along with the Bull's Chargers to the Storm Coast with Iron Bull to meet his Ben Hassrath contact, an elf named Gatt.

But whilst the plan they had was simple... the execution was much more complicated. Seemingly from nowhere, deadly Venatori Mages appear along the coastline... and with the realisation they would perish within minutes of attempting to fight them, the Inquisitor and Bull must make a tough decision - to give up the Ben-Hassrath and Qunari alliance, also making Bull Tal Vashoth, or to leave his Chargers to the merciless Venatori and watch them all be slaughtered.

Unable to make the decision himself, Bull looks to the Boss for the answer. Trevelyan knows the consequences of each decision would be vast and destructive to Bull, but the bottom line was she couldn't let these people - not only under her care as Inquisitor, but now also her friends - perish in such a horrific fashion.

The final decision was perhaps easier than it should have been. She tells Bull to order the retreat of his men before the Venatori got to them... and no matter the consequences, Bull looks relieved this was her choice. His respect for her increases and he's now even more glad she's not only the Boss, but also a very good friend.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

Inquisitor Trevelyan accompanies Dorian to meet the "Family Retainer" sent by his father to meet him. They arrive at the Gull and Lantern Inn, Redcliffe, where it turns out there is no "Retainer"... it was a ruse so Magister Parvus could see his son again. Dorian's "secret" is then out... possibly the worst-kept "secret" in Thedas... and the only thing Trevelyan is surprised about his how much it seems to matter, to the point she's not quite sure what he's getting at when he mentions it.

Trevelyan works at ensuring the two of them reconcile - and somehow she actually manages to succeed in getting Dorian to swallow his pain and pride and speak to his father. When she meets him at Skyhold after, he tells her most of the painful story, of what he had to go through.

Despite how difficult it was, Dorian appears relieved that they had spoken. To lighten the mood, she teases him about flirting with her, and makes it clear she has no intention of having him stop now she officially knows about him. She also stands up to Mother Giselle for him, and cares about what effect her suspicious negativity towards his home country has on him.

Dorian once again lets down his guard in another rare moment with her, to tell her how much he feels for her - that she's a true friend - at which she is so taken aback at, she can barely speak. She hadn't expected him to so seriously tell her something like that, she's touched he had done, and it frankly makes her year.

Mother Giselle has apparently found herself the third-party contact between Dorian - whom she does not trust - and his parents, who have entrusted her with the task of getting him to Redcliffe to meet with a "Retainer".

Not knowing what to do, she's given the task to the Inquisitor. Trevelyan immediately takes the letter sent to Mother Giselle to Dorian to see what he has to say about the matter. She watches her friend struggle with this painful letter, and offers her support.

Trevelyan talks to and gossips with her new BFF - her GBF - Dorian - the first person she totally adores on the Inquisition team.

After everything they went through they're already quite bonded... but she realises she doesn't really know who he really is. She is highly entertained by him, loves listening to him, she thinks he's fabulous and amazing, loves the benign flirting with him, and she's glad he's here with the Inquisition.
