Commander Shepard and her team take the elevator up the long shaft to the peak of the Citadel Tower to head off Saren.

The Citadel's arms are closed and Sovereign takes its place on the peak of the Citadel Tower. Saren locks down the elevator to safeguard it.

Shepard blows out the glass of the elevator and heads out into the maintenance shafts, to her gravity boots and gun do the real talking, and get to him.

Taking a deep breath, Shep faces running the Mako through a horde of Geth and into the Conduit Mass Relay.

Meanwhile, the Citadel is under attack. The Asari commandos  on the Destiny Ascension gives the order to evacuate the Citadel... which falls on deaf ears as Geth walk out of the Citadel Control Room.

Shepard, Tali and Liara crash-land on the Citadel after being pushed out of the Mass Relay "statue" on the Presidium, only to be faced with a sight right out of hell itself when they climb out of their mangled wreckage...

Kaiden's voice over the coms as he accompanies them is a constant and welcoming sound to her as Shep continues to push forward.

Later, upstairs, she is joined by Fenris, who visits to try and offer her some comfort.

Surprisingly, Fenris returns to her to try and offer her comfort, but he reminds her that forgiveness and absolution is something he cannot offer to help ease her pain.

Fenris finally gets to achieve his goal of eliminating Hadriana... but she leaves him with another kick in the teeth: That he has a sister he no longer remembers. He walks away, emotionally wounded, angry, and confused, hitting Hawke with a hurtful comment as he does so.

Hawke is subsequently much surprised to find him in her hallway later, apologising for his outburst... but then he leaves her again.

Propositioned by the charismatic sea captain she suddenly finds in her front hall, Hawke succumbs to Isabela's charms and enjoys a momentary lapse in judgement with her.

Three years after returning from The Expedition, Hawke visits Fenris and he speaks to her about his lack of memory, not knowing now where to go or what to do.

She then makes it clear to him that she has become rather enamoured with the elf, and he is clearly pleased although continues to be reserved and keep himself at a distance.


On a second visit, she finds Fenris entirely intoxicated with the last of Danarious' wine. He offers to share with her the story of his escape from Danarious, as it is the anniversary of the escape.

Now with his usual reserve and personal barriers down, he flirts openly with her and honest about himself, willing to entertain being propositioned by her, to take her up on the offer but at another time (presumably when he is sober...)

Hawke and her team have defeated the evil that lies within the Deep Roads and finally leave, taking all that they can with them. After so long away, she returns home to a very different family life and a devastated mother.

Three years later, the Hawke family is in a very  different position to before they left for Bartrand's Expedition - and Hawke is summoned to see the Viscount to assist in a very unexpected matter.

Meanwhile, this is all part of Varric's story to a certain Seeker Cassandra Pentaghast, as he continues to tell his tale of The Champion...

After defeating the first dragon to attack Whiterun, the newly-bequeathed Dragonborn returns to Dragonsreach to report to the Jarl of Whiterun.



The Jarl confirms that it would seem she really does seem to have been declared the Dragonborn by the Shout echoing through the night from the Greybeards.



For defeating the dragon and helping to save Whiterun, Dragonborn is also declared the Thane of Whiterun - a position that means she can also buy herself a house... so now it's time to go on some more adventures and seriously save!
