After Captain Kirrahe's resounding and rather uplifting speech about holding the line, the team splits up and Shep leaves with Garrus and Wrex to start the assault on Saren's base of his insane operations, and on the Geth.
Ashley heads off with Kirrahe and his team, whilst Kaidan heads off for the bomb.
