Now the colony has been freed and returned to the colonists, Shepard and her ground team can safely leave Zhu's Hope and Feros knowing they are safe.

Back on the Normandy, the entire team reflect on what they have learned. Liara offers her own mind transfer to make sense out of what Shep has been shown - in joining her consciousness to the Commanders', she might be able to use her own experience and understanding of the Protheans to understand the beacon's meaning.

Liara immediately realises what the visions mean... and she is overwhelmed - by both the experience and what she saw. That the Reapers destroyed the Protheans. However, there are parts of the data that is clearly missing - they''re only seeing part of the picture, and Saren either has - or is searching - for the rest of it.

Shep also speaks to the Citadel Council about it... and quite pointlessly, of course.
