Mass Effect
Shepard finally breaks the Thorian and destroys it after a long battle with it. The creature drops to the floor... and releases an Asari commando it held hostage within it (and clearly where the clones had come from).
The Asari was one of Matriarch Benezia's commandos, and worked with Saren - until he gave her to the Thorian as a means of communication.
