Commander Shepard makes it to the second fusion torch station... only to find the entire area surrounding it booby-trapped with hidden landmines.

Her headset can pick them up, so she treads lightly... then the Batarians start taking pot-shots at her and making life more difficult. Inside there are more of them with drones, making for some interesting target-practice.

Despite such frivolities, Shep fights her way into the station an receives another transmission from Kate, who has some more unfortunate news... and experiences tragedy.

Commander Shepard can only listen helplessly as it unfolds over the communication system... and she remains still in cold anger until it is still enough for her to move on and take this Batarian leader she head down.
