After staving off another attack, including the strange aberration within the collectors of a glowing, even more evil creature that spoke to her, Shepard hacks the door to a locked garage away to the side. Beyond, she finds a lone survivor - a mechanic who locked himself in when the Collectors hit.

He answers a few more questions about the situation, collect a few extra useful supplies, and ready themselves to face more of those creatures until they managed to calibrate the AA tower guns surrounding the colony and attack their "mother ship".
