Mass Effect 2_Ari'iaana-Citadel_Thane_Kolyat

Mass Effect 2

Shepard heads back to Captain Bailey to question him about Elias Kelham. It turns out that Elias is paying him off and Bailey looks the other way as long as he doesn't cause too much trouble...

He agrees to set him up in a way that makes it look like he had nothing to do with it. Kelham is brought in to be interrogated by Shepard and Thane.

Strapped to a chair in a room in C-Sec, Shepard and Than start the interrogation, with Shepard initially playing "good" cop, with Thane playing to his own nature and playing "truly terrifying cop". However, once it's established he's going to keep to his nature and say nothing, Shepard does her planned 180 and get straight into his face and the shocking change terrifies him enough to make him talk.

Joram Talid is the target of the hit Kelham ordered Koylat to make - an anti-human Turian who is gaining traction in Citadel politics. After finding out more about him from Bailey, Shep and Thane go after him, to follow Talid and try and find Koylat that way... and then stop him.

Shepard follows Talid (well, his Krogan bodyguard, mainly) via the overhead maintenance catwalks, whilst Thane sticks to what he knows best... the dark corners with the best views. With a payer, he vanishes into the crowds and waits for Shep to update him with where Talid goes.

Talid proves to be quite the shaker, rather than a mover, and Shep watches his Krogan pet undertaking shake-downs and covert meetings with mercs. She's beginning to see why Elias might want him dead...

At the last minute, they spot Kolyat, just as Talid is getting to his apartment. They are just in time, and stop him just before he pulls the trigger on the kneeling politician. They have stopped the assassination.

Now, they need to do something much harder... Try to reunite absent assassin father and very angry and lonely son.
