As Shepard and her team wander about Illium, they end up stumbling across an old... friend. Causing trouble. Again.

Conrad Vernon is yelling in  one of the bars, Eternity, causing a scene and irritating the Asari bar staffer there... who was attempting to refrain from hitting him with a Singularity. Shep steps in and shows him just what she thinks of him and the attitude he's sporting...

Shep deals with Varner and decides to humour him, to find out why someone has been using him and his idiocy to obtain the deed for the bar. After, she speaks to the Asari - a Matriarch, no less - she gets some drinks down her... quite a common reaction after dealing with Conran Varner.
