The bridge between the Dantius Towers is as dangerous and windy as warned. When Shepard's team fight their way onto it, they find it clearly deadly, but helpful - it prevented more mercs crossing it, and threatened those who did with being pushed off by biotics or weapons... and it's rather a long way down.
Finally, Shep makes it across to Tower One and the Penthouse.
