Shepard finds that the plague is a plot conspired between the Vorcha and the Collectors.
After dispatching the Vorcha in her way, she inserts the cure into the console with the ventilation fans and turn them on. Activating the PowerStartup goes without a hitch. The trick is to now get to the other two consoles and turn the fans on.
