The Team finally come face-to-face with (Acting) Captain Ronald Taylor. Jacob's Father... or, perhaps, formally Jacob's father. He's lucky Jacob didn't shoot him for what he did...

Shepard and Jacob speak to him, but none of it really makes much sense... apart from the fact the shipwreck turned into "Lord of the Flies" for adults...

Jacob (quite obviously) presumes the original ping he received was from the Illusive Man, but he denies it all implicitly. Then Miranda turns up... and admits that letting him know about it was her way of "keeping a promise"... what ever promise that was.
