Wandering the Presidium on the Citadel, Shepard takes in the views, including the enormous Krogan statue in the middle of the lake. Avina has a lot to say about it that is quite interesting about the history of the Krogan and Rachni war.

She also speaks to the financial wizard, Barla Von, a Volus that also works for the Shadow Broker. She has gone to him for information, which he offers to her for free - the Shadow Broker has a personal stake in this after Saren betrayed him, and wants to bring him down.

Barla Von tells her that the Shadow Broker sent a Krogan bounty-hunter to deal with the situation. A Krogan named Wrex. He's at C-Sec, so that's where Shepard finds him, who's also gunning for Fist - the guy who betrayed the Shadow Broker and took the Quarian Dr Michel tried to help. Shepard's reputation precedes her, and Wrex is  happy to join the team.

In the club and casino Flux, Shepard finds a young woman named Rita, who's clearly worried about her sister. Since she is so clearly concerned, and the owner Doran is even happy to have her returned, so Shepard decides she will try and speak to Jenna.
