Mass Effect 2_Ari'iaana-Normandy_Garrus_Grunt_Loyalty_Requests
Mass Effect 2
Shepard holds three very important conversations with three of her crew members - Garrus, Grunt, and Mordin.
Garrus has finally found the location of the one two betrayed him: Sidonis. He finally has a lead to exact his revenge upon him... something Shepard is not happy about. She doesn't believe in retribution, and especially not cold-blooded murder.
She already had this conversation with Garrus two years ago aboard the first Normandy, when he wanted the blood of a lunatic Salarian doctor who escaped him. Now Garrus was at it again, despite seeming to have learnt his lesson the last time. Somehow, she was going to have to talk him out of doing it again... the last thing she wanted was the blood of someone else on his hands in this way.
She knew him well enough to know it would hurt him more to enact it in the long run than it would to undertake such a deed. She had done it once - she could only hope she could do it again.
Grunt and Mordin's concerns were rather more straightforward... in theory, anyway. Both required a trip to the Krogan world of Tuchanka.
Grunt required the answer as to why he suddenly felt quite uncontrollable range inside him, and Mordin needed to rescue a fellow comrade trapped on Tuchanka - one who had also been involved with the Genophage and could well be punished for it by any Krogan that may have found him. Both pretty easy in comparison to attempting to talk Garrus out of assassinating his former team member...
