Waiting in a private room within the Eternity lounge is Miranda's contact, Lanteia, who has been involved with saving Miranda's sister and her family.

It turns out something has gone wrong and someone called Niket - a very old friend of Miranda's - contacted Lanteia to inform her Eclipse Mercs are after her sister Oriana, and has offered to personally escort the entire family himself.

When they arrive to speak to the Eclipse Mercs, some unexpected news is offered, and Shep finds out Miranda has been keeping a rather important secret.
