Much to her surprise, Shepard finds a Salarian trying to scan the Keepers... for a few extra credits she even agrees to help him do it.

As they get to Chora's Den, they're ambushed by some grunts of Saren, who are quickly dispatched.

In Chora's Den they find Harkin. After badmouthing Captain Anderson, he tells her where to find Garrus, which is by the office of a Dr Michel. On her way there, she is accosted by reporter Emily Wong, who sways her into giving her relevant information regarding corruption on the Citadel.

Nearby is a window with a wonderful view of the Citadel, which they take a moment to gaze out on. Discussing the galaxy and humanity's place in it, Kaidan slips up on his crush and admiration of his new XO, and it doesn't take a moment for Ashley to go and tease him.
